Spring Diamante Poetry Form

Celebrate spring with this diamond-shaped poem called diamante. This form teaches students how to write a diamante poem as well as provide them with a form on which to write it. This would be a great addition to your students' writing portfolios. Collect all of the seasons. They are also provided in a packet entitled "Poems for all Seasons". Reading Response Self-Assessment/ Self-Monitoring Checklist is used by my students to self-assess their reading responses for their homework. I was tired of getting poor quality responses and this definitely helped! I typed four on a page so you can cut them and staple/glue them to student's notebooks or papers.
