6 Traits Writing Rubric
Often students do not completely understand what a rubric is assessing or how to use it when creating their original piece of writing. This rubric is student friendly and can be adapted to all different types of writing styles. It is currently formatted for Research because that is what we are currently working on in class. I have modified this rubric and used it for projects, or the kids have graded each other using it as well. ENJOY!

The Three Little Pigs - bundle of phonics activities
I created all these resources to be used in my class when they start in reception. They range from initial sound activities to reading/making CVC words up to reading a simple phase 2 (Letters and sounds) sentence. English grammar - Irregular past tense: board game
Teaching grammar is not always very fun for the kids..until now!
I use this board game to teach irregular past tense verbs. Each child will have a marker (could be anything.. from a button to a rubber!) and a di for each board game. When child A throws the di, s/he has to move the marker and land on a sentence. S/he will then need to say the sentence with the correct past tense verb.
