Oil and Water Science Experiment
I did this with my students today. I saved up a bunch of water bottles and the students watched as I put it together. All you do is add some water, oil and food coloring. I put a little super glue on the lids so my behavior babies wouldn't have the chance to make a mess.

I am always trying to figure out what to do with my little primary groups, and this unit was a definite hit with my kindergartners. It would work well with 1st grade too or the regular 2nd grade classroom. The full unit contains more than 2 hours of contact time.
