Order of Operations Cheat Sheet

While teaching my students in the resource setting, Order of Operations, I created this cheat sheet on the fly. They used it to help them remember the order. I color coded only the first letter and then highlighted it in the example next to it with the same color. I have included two pages, one with the full word one color and then the next with only the first letter color. The example on both is in the matching color. Please let me know if you have any questions or concerns!

Use this ordinal numbers template to create a handy classroom resource...I have printed mine onto coloured card, mounted onto funky paper and laminated them for display around the classroom.......You could also use them for a collaborative class activity where each student is given a card and they put themselves into order - without speaking (always a challenge!)

This game is awesome because it really makes kids think about how numbers can be used together to make number sentences. I

Distributive Property Task Cards

I created these cards as a way for students to practice and visualize the process of decomposing a factor. They really helped students to understand the process of decomposing and why it might be a more efficient strategy! I printed and laminated them so that students could use a skinny dry erase directly on them.
