Students enjoy taking on the roles of emperor, shogun, daimyo, samurai, and peasant when performing in this skit on the Medieval Japan Feudal Hierarchy that I wrote. (I even have students dress up in costumes I created out of construction paper!) The skit basically teaches students the roles and relationships of the 5 main groups (above) during medieval Japan.
