Meteorologist Script
My students were learning about weather vocabulary words through reading books such as "Weather Words and What They Mean." To wrap up our study of weather I had my students fill out this script. Do/Does/Don't/Doesn't Dialogue
This is a little dialogue between two people that uses DO, DOES, DON'T, and DOESN'T in many ways that I use to help EL Newcomers practice both reading and speaking fluency. This intervention is going to be used for that child who does not speak with an English accent. These small activities will help the child to use the English version of words, dialect, and sentence structures also speak alongside their peers using the English words but can use the American words in role play.
We will be following a plan where the child repeats words after the adult, looks at stories and also uses English words to describe different items around them by using the English word.
