This short quirky play leads to a thoughtful application of the movements of the Solar System's celestial bodies set to Strauss's famous overture "Also Sprach Zarathustra, Op. 30." Students become the planets, etc., determining their orbits, rotation directions/speed, and use other clues to work through how the planets formed. Halley's Comet and the Kuiper Belt also play a role! Ideal for either a classroom lesson or a parent-night presentation!
