This is an assignment I developed for my grade 6-8 students. It requires them to have basic knowledge of the GarageBand program (I used iPads), as they will be choosing a song of their choice to cover. This assignment is designed to be completed in partners, and took my guys roughly one month, having two, 40 minute periods per week.

This is a middle school level world music project. The students create a slideshow presentation with the information listed on the document. All requirements for the project are listed on the attached document. In my experience, it takes five 40 minute class periods to complete.
