ASL Gesture & Voices Off Practice - School Problems
With this activity students will practice communicating without using their voices.
Students will act out and use gesture to indicate a variety of problems that may arise in school (I need a pencil, I feel sick, I forgot my homework, etc.) while other students guess what the problem is.
This is an excellent introductory activity to get students used to the idea of not relying on their voices to communicate.

This was meant for ASL class, but it could be used as a brain break. It is prompts set up for a game of Charades with a Twist- you are ONLY allowed to use facial expressions! The prompts are color-coded by category, but you can also mix it up for a challenge. It's very basic, and not as pretty as most on here, but it is editable and your students will love the game!
