Adding and Subtracting Mixed Numbers Tarsia Activity
This tarsia activity is an engaging way that students can collaborate to solve the puzzle. Students will add and subtract mixed numbers or fractions, find the answer and connect the pieces. Once the pieces are connected correctly, a larger triangle will be formed. For my classroom, I printed these on card stock, then laminated, and cut apart. As I cut out each sheet, I used like stickers on the back, just in case a piece gets misplaced.

This activity works best after students have already developed strategies for adding and subtracting integers. Students are given the autonomy of creating their own personal BINGO boards using answer strips. These answer strips contain all the answers to the problems given in the game.

Students can practice multiplying mixed numbers in a fun, interactive way! Copy a game board for each student and have them write the numbers in one of the BINGO boxes. Area Bingo
A 30 card set of bingo cards designed to teach students to compute the area of squares, rectangles, triangles, parallelograms, and circles. A "Geometry Cheat Sheet" with the formulas needed for finding these areas is included. Also included are complete instructions and a calling card.
