As I was teaching rounding, I wanted a blank number line that my kids could use for both rounding to the hundreds place and the tens. I had a difficult time finding a blank one, so I decided to create one. I print these out on card stock and laminate them so that the kids can use them with their dry erase markers. This a a vocabulary station activity my students worked on for a couple of months. They had to complete 5 words a week. The activity is differentiated by RIT Band based on MAP scores. I gave each student the band they were in if they were on the low end of the band and the next band up if they were close to the next band. I saw significant growth in my scores by doing this.
