What educators are saying
Great resource for teaching rounding numbers. I used this as a help sheet to give my students another rounding strategy
Description
As I was teaching rounding, I wanted a blank number line that my kids could use for both rounding to the hundreds place and the tens. I had a difficult time finding a blank one, so I decided to create one.
I print these out on card stock and laminate them so that the kids can use them with their dry erase markers. For example, if they are rounding 156 to the hundreds place, they would put 100 on one end and 200 on the other. They would then write 110, 120, 130... on the number line. If they are rounding to the tens place, they would do the same with ones.
