How to create an interactive spreadsheet
Teach students how to create an interactive spreadsheet using my poster resources! The two posters (which can be printed back to back) cover the creation of a table, use of drop down lists and combining them with the use of a lookup formula in order to create a user friendly spreadsheet.

Farewell to Manzanar Tic Tac Toe Project
Students must select three activities from the tic tac toe board. There are activities for each learning style. There is something for everyone. They are also challenging activities that interest the students. I use this activity with my academically gifted students when we read Farewell to Manzanar.

Use cards as a game to ask questions about a text. Students roll a color dice/spin a color wheel and a number dice. The color dice determines which question they need to answer. When they answer correctly, they get the points that are listed on the number dice.

Student Non-Fiction Book Publishing Rubric
I used this rubric for my students when they created non-fiction books about the Native American Tribes. Students folded 3-4 sheets of white paper in half, bound it with staples, and then filled it in with the required content. This project incorporated our social studies content while reinforcing writing skills and identifying, using, and creating text features. This product can be modified to accommodate any non-fiction subject area. A great tool for integrating multiple content areas into one
