TEACHING EXPERIENCE

10 Years teaching experience within the UK. I have taught a range of subjects,particularly ICT, Computer Science and PE at KS3, KS4 and KS5. I have been a head of department for 5 years and I am currently a Head of Faculty covering ICT, Computer Science and DT.

MY TEACHING STYLE

My aim is to create teaching resources which help develop confident learners who are capable of solving problems independently. Within today's society I believe problem solving is one of the most important skills we as educators can teach young people. I strive to incorporate the development of computational thinking, a technique used to solve problems logically, wherever possible. As such I aim to develop resilient learners, equipping them with a problem solving technique which can be applied to a wide range of challenges!
