TEACHING EXPERIENCE

This is my 10th year teaching grades 9-12. I have extensive special needs experience and training as well as experience with second language learners. This year is my first year shifting to standards-based learning using the C3 framework.

MY TEACHING STYLE

In class, I focus on critical thinking including a lot of discussion as well as inquiry and project-based learning opportunities. Due to my special needs training I really focus on meeting the needs of all of my students through differentiation as well as allowing for student voice and choice!
