A unit for 'Le Petit Prince' - a great unit for French Immersion classes from garde 6-8. This document contains question, vocabulary words and short activities to accompany the reading of the book. I also have a project page available (not with this document). Personally, I find that students find this novel difficult - therefore we read it together (approx a chapter per day) and I guide them through it. As we read as a class we make a story map on the board of his travels. Once we've completed

I used this when I began teaching Spanish. My students had received Spanish prior to me being hired and I wanted to see what they knew. I used this pre-assessment for my 5th-6th grade classes, but it could be used as a pre-assessment or even a regular test/final exam for any elementary, middle school, or possibly high school grades (depending on their amount of experience with Spanish). This test ended up being quite hard for my students so I realized they hadn't learned as much as I expected.
