What educators are saying

My students loved this resource. I did the chunking method in order to get excellent results from my students. This was a fun way to learn about countries food culture.
This resource was a helpful time-saver that fit into materials I have, made for a good end of unit project. I would recommend it; it's good value for the price.

Description

Your students will love this amazing and fun project. Food trucks and street foods are part of the Latin culture and this project will help them learn as well as inspire the entrepreneur in them!

The documents include:

A grading rubric, full instructions and tips on how to use Canva.com and the recorded options. NOTE: although the food truck sides are included, you must copy paste each side into another word document and change the paper size depending on what paper sizes your school provides for you. Some students chose to do the truck out of a shoe box instead.

To construct the truck with the printables, provide 1 side of the truck for each student. They will decorate and cut out and glue it to cardboard. they will add then a piece of paper as the roof and the front.

This rubric has basic requirements like the use of the verb ser, gender and number matching for certain tasks, hours and times but it also has higher concepts like commands and future tense.

You are the new owner of a new food truck business. Your teacher will assign you a random Latin American country and you will design a food truck business with food from that country. You will be working in class and at home in order to complete the project.

The project will consist of the following:

- 25% Food truck 3D model fully decorated with a name fully in Spanish. Students can download a template (there are lots in google or make it from scratch using a shoe box.

-25% Food menu printed with foods and descriptions from that country

-50% Recorded TV commercial using different grammar components
