Rhythmic Rondo Form Activity
I used this graphic organizer with my second graders after I taught them Rondo Form. Each box represents 1 beat. The students write their own piece of music in rondo form using known rhythm symbols. I had them work in groups and then perform their pieces at the end. The directions are included.

Beat Cards: Learn how to Compose Beats
Word document of rhythmic grid cards. These beat cards are designed to model the same table or grid that is used in DAWs to create beats. Students can see how the subdivisions are broken down from the larger rhythmic value.
