Geography World Regions Research Project
This is a rubric for a Geography Research Project that requires students to work collaboratively to encompass the culture of the 6 major world regions. I pre-assigned groups for the students and required each team member to sign up for a fair amount of the 10 components described. Letter to Congress Presentation & Writing Project
Students will focus on an issue that is near and dear to them. They will draft a letter to their local Congressperson outlining what the issue is, make an argument to support their issue using research, and then create a presentation to share with the class as well. An optional activity is to have your students vote on each argument as if they are proposed bills.
