2nd Grade Learning Targets and Success Criteria Book (Measurement/Geometry)
I have been doing research on the importance of Visual Learning and students understanding the learning targets and what is the success criteria for each standard. So I decided to developed a book for the students. The full version is still in development I will be working on one standard at a time and when complete I will be making a bundle.
The book is written in the Florida State Standards but can be modifies to fit Common Core.

Area and Perimeter Project
This project involves measuring the area and perimeter of rectangular objects in the classroom, as well as the diameter, radius, area, and circumference of two circular objects. A detailed rubric is provided to guide students in understanding their assessment.
Enrichment for Measurement Unit
This is a project for your students that need to be enriched, and don't simply need more worksheets doing something they already know how to do. This requires them to measure and reason as they create a classroom and playground for the 2 inch tall inhabitants of Planet Diminutive that are on their way to earth.
Differentiating with Mrs. Roberts believes that all students need to be challenged and met where they are.
