Rubric Bookmark - for independent reading and goal setting
Before independent reading my students pull out their laminated reading bookmarks and write their reading goal on the back with a whiteboard marker. Their goals usually look like... My reading goal is to not bother my friend. OR My reading goal is to be a 4 star reader.
They use their bookmarks while they read and it helps remind them to stay focused and increases their stamina.

A colour-coded Letter Writing checklist to help students remember to include all of the parts of a letter. I glued this resource into my students’ writing notebooks for their regular reference. It has been a great reference for me to deliver instruction, and a great reference for my students to complete a task.
