Having clearly mapped out units for the school year is critical in my practice, but I never quite found the right map to match my style and personality as a teacher. This curriculum map was designed by me, at the time, a 10-year veteran teacher, who decided to quit her comfortable job and take a new job closer to home. I'm going to send it home to my families as a check-in to see how their feeling about school, now that it's more than halfway into the school year. I think it would be a great way to see how they (parents and students) are feeling about school and to get some ideas on how to continue to grow as a teacher.
