Introduce yourself to new teacher- letter from student to teacher
Going on a leave? Maternity or planning on being off for a bit? Have you students calm their anxiety about 'what will the new teacher be like' by having them write the new teacher a little bit about themselves. PowerPoint for Writing Choose and Do Substitute Plan
This is a PowerPoint I designed for students to "Choose and Do" writing activities. I have left this for emergency sub plans and it has worked really well.
The idea is that students watch the PowerPoint and "Choose" three of the writing tasks (12 to choose from!) and complete them by the end of class. There are a variety of topics ranging from persuasive topics to reflecting on quotes.
