Writing is a subject many students drag their feet on. I have noticed that my students have the most trouble organizing their thoughts. Pre-writing is a critical step in the writing process. Use this graphic organizer with students to help them write a five paragraph essay! This is the most practical way I've found to organize thoughts before writing or typing a final draft.

Fictional Narrative Writing Plan
I was struggling to have my students plan out their writing and could not find anything on tpt to assist so I decided to make my own! This plan is so scaffolded that all of my different-leveled learners were able to write an extensive narrative that was both creative and unique. This worked really well for my 5th graders but I think it could work well for any grades 3rd-12th.

State Report Fill-in-the-Blank Template
This is a great fill in the blank State Report Template which all students can use. This is definitely a useful resource for English Language Learners and for students who may need a bit more guidance or modified work. The State Report template has sentence frames which include "labeled" blanks which specify what needs to be written on each line.
