This Powerpoint follows basic steps of constructing a song. Students will put rhythms to words (quarter, 8th, and 16th notes), add pitches/solfege (Mi, Sol, and La) and then put the song on the music staff (reviewing concepts like: pitch, melody, staff, measure, time signature, step, skip).
The Powerpoint also includes an ostinato to be played on pitch instruments and instructions for a game.
