This mini-unit includes 5 inquiry-based lessons where students are constructing their own knowledge. (Just added the 5th lesson!)

Day 1: The First Thanksgiving
Day 2: Traveling on the Mayflower vs. traveling today
Day 3: Then and Now: What has changed?
Day 4: Thanksgiving traditions of today
Day 5: What are we thankful for?

Each lesson has a slideshow PACKED with questions to encourage students to think about this national holiday. The slideshows come in PowerPoint and Smart Board so you can choose what works for you!

There are also printables and crafts (with photo directions) included to go along with each lesson!
