Vietnam War: The Draft - Who Stays, Who Goes?
Some of the best group discussions I have ever seen came out of this assignment, which asks students to "serve" on a Vietnam-era draft board to determine who goes and who stays from 10 short, realistic bios, and defend their decisions.
