6 + 1 Writing Traits: a slides presentation for the classroom
A 42-slide Google Slide presentation to use in the classroom. It introduces the six writing traits and gives detailed examples of each trait in writing. Sentences should only be expanded when the words you add provide useful information. Avoid adding unneeded words. This lesson will provide the notes and plan for the teacher to present to students as well as practice exercises for students to do independtly or in pairs. The best way to have high school students write a decent short story is to force them to write a simple, easily-recognizable story (like the quest available at the Educabana store).
