This is The Clean Up Song. It's an original song written by me, Sara bee Garro. After I teach this song to the children, I use the recording basically everyday. Bonus Tip: To help speed up the clean up, I like to play a faster song after this one like "What I like About You" It really gets the kids moving : )

This is a song I wrote and recorded. It's based on the book Stone Fox, by John Reynolds Gardiner. SPOILER ALERT!!! The song mentions key parts of the story, including the end of the dogsled race.

The Shortcut Song (Donald Crews)
This is a song based on Donald Crews' Shortcut. It follows the sequence of the story line and builds suspense similar to the story. Other teachers have used this for multiple purposes in the reading and writing workshops such as for an extension lesson, to compare and contrast, to analyze how an author (or songwriter) builds suspense, for teaching sequence, for character analysis, and more. Bullying prevention self esteem song
This amazing little song has a long history of inspiring students to view offbeat classmates as special and interesting rather than odd. We have witnessed this little Nonconformist song turn "different" into the new "cool" at an entire school!
