Good Citizenship

This social living Promethean Flipchart for Activboard teaches kids how to be stand-up citizens in all environments. The lesson opens with 3 different settings and students are invited to identify how the people in the settings are being good citizens. Next, the daily objectives for the lessons are displayed. Then the students are introduced to the vocabulary terms: citizenship, leader, rules, and laws, along with the definitions of each term. A 3 section t-chart is displayed with a home, school, and community, and students are to interactively discuss and list ways they can be good citizens. Last, pictures are displayed and the students are to differentiate the pictures demonstrate good citizenship from the pictures that do not as an informal assessment of the lesson. This lesson is good for a social living lesson or a guidance lesson for school counselors.
