We spend close to six weeks learning about, preparing for, and finally writing our research paper. I teach the MLA parenthetical citation method along with note card note-taking skills. This is the rubric I use to assess their final paper. The paper is worth 100 points. This rubric has been changed and altered throughout the years and I think it's finally bullet proof :).
