NEW: This is the project I use with my grade 5 arts education students in Saskatchewan. Applies to SK ED's Critical Responsive outcome 5.2 (Respond critically and creatively to a variety of pop culture expressions). Simply make a copy of the entire slide presentation, save it to your files under a new name and enjoy the hyperlinked activity! I let me students work in their sketchbooks while listening to these 16 classic Canadian tunes. After each paired showdown, students vote on the winner.
