Free Hungry Caterpillar Threading Activity (Transparent PNG)

Practice threading with these food cut outs. The transparent png should allow you to use a Circuit or Silhouette to cut out card stock. You can also cut them out by hand. These are designed to be large so that a spoon or large popsicle stick can be used to help feed yarn through the food. I choose to paint caterpillars on spoons and then used hot glue to attach the yarn. This activity could also be done with a large popsicle stick or even just cut yarn.

Our school has been nominated for a $50,000 grant. Rather than the many grants listed for iPads, playground equipment or musical production materials, we have made this grant to have a permanent and lasting impact on students. The grant is written to provide service learning opportunities for students. The funds will be used for a service learning club, projects and to fund student-written grants for non-profits.
