AP Latin Practice: Advanced Latin Translation with AP Latin-Style Questions

Here is a Latin passage I wrote for my Latin III Class. It was intended to cover Wheelock's Latin Chapters 1-31, but would be a great challenge for any advanced Latin student who knows subjunctives and constructions such as indirect statement and ablative absolute. The story is about a romance between 2 elephants. I made the narrative easy to follow so that they could translate the Latin as precisely as possible. After the translate there are 15 multiple choice questions that ask AP Latin-style

Latin Colors Review Project

This project is presented as a "Colors Review Project," and engages the artistic and creative sides of students--but it is actually much more than a colors activity. Latin color adjectives include 1st/2nd Declension adjectives, as well as 3rd Declension adjectives. This is a great activity to use once students have learned all of these adjective groups (and the Latin colors themselves, of course). Very simple to present, but the students' work will be excellent.
