This Smart Board presentation walks the teacher and students through an excellent hands-on activity, using goldfish crackers and post-it notes, to work on discovering patterns. Code Breaker Logical Thinking Smartboard Game
In this game one person (the code maker) comes up with a four color code and the others (code finders) have to guess the code. The code maker provides hints to the code finders via colored feedback. Red feedback means the finders have the right color in the right place. White feedback means the finders have the right color in the wrong place. No feedback means the finders have the wrong color completely.
The finders are given anywhere from five to seven rounds to solve the code.

Ender's Game Unit (Smartboard)
This is a smartboard unit on the book "Ender's Game." It contains 42 slides including T-charts, compare/contrast, response questions for each chapter, 2 Venn Diagrams, 5 smart activities (including vocabulary and perception checks), 3 Kahoot links, animated gifs and activities. Imaginative Narrative Brainstorm
This is a set of Smart board slides meant to be used as a way to introduce students to writing an imaginative narrative. This prompt is to imagine the life of a dollar bill, traveling to various owners. The slides will take them through the brainstorming process, as well as drafting paragraphs for each owner they would travel to. Feelings Scenarios Whack a Mole! Throw a ball at your smartboard!
How cool!? Throwing a koosh ball at the smartboard! My kids LOVE it! When the different scenarios came up I had kids share ideas (or made a game of it, having them write down answers as a group) about each situation. They stated the way it would make them feel and different options about how to handle it. Because this lesson is centered around emotions, there may be many different ideas, feelings, and answers. Great for the first week of school!

Soccer morning attendance SMARTboard
I use this soccer-attendance for the kids in the morning. When they arrive at school they put the ball with their name on in the goal. When everyone has arrived, all the balls are inside the goal. Often I also take the time on the students. How many minutes does it take until we are ready to start?
You can also use this for other things. As an example the kids can score goals when they have completed certain tasks like reading or writing.
