Interpreting Science Graphs Activity
The thumbnails aren't showing up right. Everything will look nice when you download it :) This is a collection of 27 graphs with analyzing questions that correspond with each. In my science classroom, I had each student work on one, and then we rotated, so kids were able to see each graph. I laminated each sheet and had kids write their answers on notebook paper. This is an easy lab safety contract that puts the responsibility back on the students rather than on you as the teacher. The contract is written in kid-friendly terms and can easily be explained in one class period. Cell Phone Policy EDITABLE!
Included is an EDITABLE cell phone policy. Your student and their parents/guardians will sign it. It includes proper times when students can be on their phones/devices and when they cannot. It also lays out detailed consequences. If you have devices in your classroom that students can use like Chrome books or iPads, you can add that in to the policy. Failure Letter To Parents

Intro To Chemistry: The Dihydrogen Monoxide Assignment
Prank your students with this sensationalized assignment about a "dangerous substance." Students read about the substance, complete a worksheet about its properties and then convince family members to support a ban on the substance. What is the substance? H2O!
Assignment comes with a school letterhead notice to send home with students, urging them that the science department needs them to learn about a chemical substance.

Chemical and Physical Properties and Changes sorting cards
This a set of 40 small cards that I created to use with an interactive notebook. On each card is either a property or a change that can be classified as chemical or physical. These can be used in a variety of ways.

Collaborative Group Roles with Sentence Starters
Group role cards to use in class to help all students work together successfully. There are 10 different group roles each with a description of their job and sentence starters they should be using in their role. It is great for all students but especially for ELL students who need a bit extra language support to participate.
