Use this template to make a fun activity to help the children review the Alef Bais letters or sounds. You can do this various of ways:
1) Bingo stamp the letters that your student knows
2) make it into a bingo game, show a letter and if the child can identify it cover the letter
3) print a copy onto blue paper, cut out the rain drops and make it into a match up game to help children with alef bais letter recognition. ( You can keep it at 8 1/2 by 11 or enlarge it for better clarity)

Sukkos Book
I teach a group of special needs boys ranging from ages 5-8. I tried using multiple different resources to teach the basic information about the Sukkos/Sukkot holiday but it was hard to find one that is simple yet all encompassing. Jewish resources are hard to find, especially for children with special needs.
This Yom Tov Sukkos book is very clean and basic. I add information orally as we go through the pages, for those students who can retain more.

Gematria-"Hebrew Math" Using Hebrew Letters to Give Numeric Values
A quick introduction to Gematria. A worksheet that should take about 15 to 20 minutes in a Hebrew school setting. First a table to fill in the blank, either with a numeric / number value or the letter that corresponds to that number. Optional cursive practice included. Then an example is given for a Hebrew name and it's value. Student is then asked to figure out the value of their name. Finally a question about lucky number 18 (Chai).
