Interactive Notebook Crest: Icebreaker
This crest was designed to tape on the front of a notebook or glue first page. Each day I ask the students to fill in a segment as a warm-up based on a question. It is a wonderful way to personalize the notebooks and learn about your students.
You can alter what goes in each segment. But I ask them what their favorite things to learn about in science is, what they want to do when they grow up, what are their hobbies, and do an intelligence test with them to learn their strength and weaknesses.

God Rest Ye Merry Gentlemen Christmas Carol Study
Use this as a poetry study of the Christmas carol "God Rest Ye Merry Gentlemen."
