Beat Cards: Learn how to Compose Beats

Main Idea and Details Snowman
This craft can be used with any winter themed nonfiction or fiction book. Students can demonstrate their understanding of main idea and details on the parts of the snowman. Once students have made their snowman, they can use orange construction papers to make noses and brown construction paper to make arms. Students can then decorate the rest of their snowman with buttons, eyes, and mouths.
