Artist Statement Handout for Elementary
This is GREAT way to motivate your students to write about their Art! I use this with 3rd-5th graders. The simple questions get right to the point and let my students know what I want to read about. I will often post these beside art that's on display to reveal more meaning behind my little artists' works! Posting them in the hall and around my room lets my students know that their writings are important to me and I want them to take pride in talking about their art.
