Derivative of a Cubic Function
The Derivatives Animation demonstrates how to calculate the derivative of a function using the tangent line. The animation shows a function f(x) = (1/3)x^3 on a coordinate plane, with the tangent line at a point on the function moving horizontally as the point moves vertically along the function.
