Velocity vs. Time Graphs - Area and Slope

This is a daily do now that generates and randomizes the numbers for interpreting velocity vs. time graphs that have constant acceleration. It asks for the acceleration of the car and the distance covered in a time interval. You can make an infinite number of problems with the file due to the randomization. Ideal for daily warm ups and quizzing students on skills aligned to standards. I focus on one skill a week. Every day they practice the skill at the beginning of class. At the end of the wee

This excel sheet generates a new set of multiplications every time you open it. Each set gives 3 questions from 0-13 plus a few random extras at the end! Print the page once and photocopy for a whole class set. Or keep refreshing to generate billions of different combinations of quizzes! My class use these as 10 minute warm-ups before maths sessions.

In this zipped folder you can find a new simplified version of the original .xlt template in my EXCEL4PS&SP research project (I recently adapted it to better suit K7-10 students at the # Codeweek2020 European event), as well as other supporting resources making it easier to use. Furthermore, anyone who wants to approach computer programming independently, regardless of the type of language he/she is going to learn (block or textual one), can enjoy this work as well (please let me know if you

Numerical Method to Calculate the Integral of f(x).

For Calculus classes. Use this Excel spreadsheet to show that the integral of f(x) is x dx by specifying x, f(x) and a dx value. The current f(x) is 1/x, so the integral is ln(x). This shows you that when the integral of 1/x dx is 1, the x value is e. You can copy the current sheet to another tab and specify your own x, f(x) and dx values to integrate other functions with this numerical method.
