The first year I taught Algebra, I was amazed to find the majority of my students were unable add negative numbers to positive numbers or negative numbers to negative numbers. Turns out, this was a COVID gap for these students and they never revisited it! I use these fast fact sheets for the first 3-4 minutes of class each day.
