I am a special education teacher in elementary school! I love making a difference in my classroom everyday! I have licenses in special education, moderate disabilities and elementary education. I have experience working with students with specific learning disabilities and students with social emotional challenges. I have experience with pull-out lessons, inclusion services, and co-teaching.
I believe teaching and classrooms should be student focused. I work to ensure that all learning is differentiated, scaffolded, and accommodated to meet the needs of all learners in the classroom. Teachers should strive to make learning fun and engaging in any ways possible, including utilizing games and manipulatives. I am reflective, collaborative, and trying everyday to improve my teaching practice.
