SRSD Third Grade Informative Writing (TIDE) Scoring Scale
This includes three versions of scoring scales for TIDE. Each includes a color-coding key.
The three scales have varying degrees of wordiness - the first one (A) would be for student-use at the very beginning of the unit, when teaching them how to score. Reader's Response Rubric
Student friendly reader's response rubric to be used with a paragraph response. Students can keep a copy in their reader's response notebook and use the rubric to self-assess their writing. Each category contains a question that students can ask themselves to help in their revisions and self-assessment. Teachers can use the rubric as a guide to conference with students about their writing as well as to grade their writing.
