Description

When writing 5 paragraph essays, students need reminders for structure, focus, organization, language, support, and narrative techniques. Hand this out to your students while they are writing 5 paragraph essays. It will remind them to stay on task and is aligned with our district's common core writing rubric. There are separate ones for narrative, opinion/persuasive, and informational writing. It is broken down into more kid-friendly language and is easier for students to use than an entire rubric. This is also great for test prep as students will be taught to continually make sure they are focusing on these important areas. It is editable so that you can adjust it to your grade level and rubric.
