My Daily Life Clock Project
This project will be helping students get an idea as to what time of the day different activities are completed. It will also help them practice their writing skills. A rubric is provided to help with the grading process as well. The file is a Microsoft word file, and you can edit it to fit your grade and classroom.

Judging the Judges
Let your kids pick one of 6 caricatures of state writing judges. Then, let them create a name, hobbies, and grading styles for that judge through informational writing! This is a great way for students to release testing anxiety because it makes the judges seem like human beings!

Types of Forests Project
Use this Forest Characteristics page to accompany a Types of Forest project. Have students select a forest to create using paints, markers, etc. to represent the selected forest. Use found objects like orange leaves for a deciduous forest, green leaves and yarn for a rain forest and a pine needles and pine cones for a coniferous forest.
