The Little Red Hen readers theatre
The Little Red Hen picture book story has been adapted into a readers theatre script for easy recognition of roles for emergent readers. It is colour coded and it has pictures along side each character for assistance. This can be used for mixed ability classes as there are roles for non-readers and good readers.

These are some of my favorite tongue twisters that I do with my kids. I do not claim that I created any of these, but they are very easy to find on the internet. I print out a classroom set and then I get them laminated by my school so they last forever. You can even test the kids on them. Shapes songs and chants
This is a PPT file that is a combination of 2 files I created. 2-d shapes set to the tune of common kids songs, complete with audio files, and 3-d shape chants.
These chants and songs are simple to learn but teach the required descriptive vocabulary of vertex,vertices, straight sides, curved sides, and face for each shape.

These short scripts were designed for performance by preschoolers and primary grade actors. They are short, have easy to memorize lines and are age appropriate message wise. They can be done on a bare stage and the only props needed are 2 pieces of candy.
