The students had to design a cereal box to tell the story of the person they chose. They had to include things like a cereal name that relates to the person, a picture of the person, a timeline of the person's life, character traits of the person, and a written report of the biography they read about the person. On this worksheet students round two and three digit numbers and then multiply them by one digit numbers in order to estimate the product. I had them round to the left most digit. After, we discussed if our estimate is higher or lower than what the product of the original problem would be.
