Use the laminated poster on a math bulletin board to state the answer to a math problem and then have students write what the question could be and hang possible questions around the poster. Students can write on post-its, scratch pieces of paper, or blank laminated cards and you could specify further requirements like, "It must be a two-step story problem using subtraction." Students love to show off their creative story problems that meet the answer you provide.

I made these username and password cards so my students could independently use the technology lab. I plan to fill in student information, cut them out, and laminate them. They will then be made available to students when they are ready to use the classroom, media center, or technology lab computers. They could also be sent home so students could assess internet resources after school.
